Ancestral Pathways Conference 2024

Really happy and honoured to be part of this conference as a speaker; my topic connected to mermaids as ancestral archetypes, and ancient priestesses, who pour the waters of wisdom into the world to make our lives better, also in modern times.

Ancestral ways are important in my work, knowing our roots is a way of becoming grounded and finding our place in the world but for me, it has also allowed me to understand my mission when giving a voice to the voiceless but also those gone before us. Who they were, what mattered to them and why they did the things they did.

This is part of my work in symbolism but also through archetypal psychology especially in history, to understand the past we must also look at the roots and ancestors of whoever we are researching, deeply. Not just back in history to a given time-period, but all the way back in their ancestral line. Only then can we make history, by walking with the ancestors; interpreting the past through current findings in our present.
