Knights Templar - In Remembrance, Friday October 13th ZOOM LECTURE
Recording of my talk for Friday 13th October on the Knights Templar, In Remembrance. Joined by professional colleague, friend, and mentor, prof. Dr. Steven Muir, professor emeritus of religious studies of Concordia University, Edmonton (Canada) and renowned historian; he will be providing my prologue for the first of the 3 upcoming books on the Knights Templar which is "The Way of The Rose".
The aim of this talk is to take a moment to remember and honour and the Knights Templar and does discuss the main charges the order was accused of following the arrests of 1307, the proceedings, their fate after and much more. But I did wish to connect it with something much overlooked, important to Cathars and Templars; the knowledge of the heart. A key aspect in Gnosticism which is closer to the beliefs of the Knights Templar and which were not Catholic, it is also actually based on the teachings of Jesus, the Christ (Christos as initiate) who was initiated by John the Baptist and Mary Magdalene in the "Way of Love", for love was what he preached. While he is seen as an initiate by the Templars, who are initiates themselves, they carried his message of love and tolerance, and were severely punished for it; heresy being the main charge levelled against the order out of a total of 127 charges. This lecture features poetry, music videos, and highlights of my unique research for my upcoming books on the Knights Templar. Music / poetry videos which are relevant shown here and as music/poetry are languages of the soul.
